The Gold Savings Plan™ Featured at the NYSE as Lorenzo Neal Joins a Conversation on Life Beyond Football and Investing
GSP Principal and former NFL fullback participates in the 29th Annual Wall Street Project Economic Impact Summit, connecting the lessons of professional sports with long-term financial planning.
NEW YORK — The Gold Savings Plan™ was represented at the New York Stock Exchange on October 23, 2026, as Principal Lorenzo Neal participated in the 29th Annual Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Project Economic Impact Summit. The gathering brought the worlds of sports, business and finance together for a conversation about investment, entrepreneurship and economic opportunity.
For GSP, the occasion connected its focus on consistent precious-metals savings with a broader discussion: how people can prepare financially for the next chapter of their lives, whether they are professional athletes transitioning out of competition or individuals planning for their families’ future.
Introducing Lorenzo Neal: Leadership On and Off the Field
Lorenzo Neal built a 16-season NFL career as one of his era’s standout fullbacks. A four-time Pro Bowl selection and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-2000s Team, Neal became known for the blocking and teamwork that helped some of football’s leading running backs succeed.
Selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft after playing at Fresno State, Neal’s career included playing alongside LaDainian Tomlinson with the Chargers. His longevity reflects the discipline, preparation and adaptability required to compete at the highest level.
Today, Neal serves as a Principal at The Gold Savings Plan™. His participation in the summit placed the experience of a veteran athlete within a conversation about careers beyond sports and the importance of making thoughtful financial decisions.

A Conversation About Career Transitions and Investing
According to GSP’s account of the event, Neal joined a panel moderated by Brad Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of NFL Alumni, alongside Dominique Easley, a retired NFL player. The discussion addressed Neal’s playing career, his life after professional football and the importance of investing.
Edwards brings his own perspective to that transition. Before becoming NFL Alumni’s CEO, he played nine NFL seasons as a safety and won a Super Bowl championship. Easley, a former first-round draft selection who played for the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams, added another former player’s perspective to the conversation.
For professional athletes, the end of a playing career can bring significant changes to income, professional identity and daily life. The broader relevance extends beyond football: financial preparation matters before a transition arrives, not only after it begins.
That connection provides meaningful context for GSP’s participation. A disciplined approach to saving begins with understanding the available options, choosing an affordable contribution and recognizing that financial decisions should reflect individual circumstances and goals.
Sports, Capital and Economic Opportunity at the NYSE
The summit’s published theme was “The Sports Investment Revolution: From Ownership to Ecosystem.” Its advertised sessions covered private equity in sports, U.S. capital markets, women’s sports investment, athlete entrepreneurship and investing with purpose.
GSP also identified K. Don Cornwell, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dynasty Equity, among the event’s participants. Dynasty Equity is a global sports investment firm co-founded and led by Cornwell and Jonathan Nelson. Its focus on the sports ecosystem added an institutional-investment dimension to the gathering’s broader discussion.

The Gold Savings Plan™ gives customers a structured way to purchase physical gold and silver through recurring contributions. Customers buy their selected metals directly through the GSP platform, including the app, rather than having GSP make investment decisions on their behalf.
Gold purchases are available in multiples of 1/100 troy ounce, while silver purchases are available in 1/10 ounce increments. These smaller units allow customers to build precious-metals holdings over time without purchasing a full ounce of gold at once.
Customers can use GSP’s planning tools to explore contribution options and learn how the program works. The appropriate choice of metal and contribution amount depends on each customer’s budget, preferences and goals.
